बागमती प्रदेश, काठमाडौँ जिल्लामा अवस्थित बुढानीलकण्ठ नगरपालिका नेपाल सरकार, तत्कालीन सङ्घीय मामिला तथा स्थानीय विकास मन्त्रालयको मिति २०७१ मङ्सिर १६ गतेको मन्त्रीस्तरीय निर्णयबाट चपली, भद्रकाली, खड्का भद्रकाली, चुनिखेल, महाङ्काल, विष्णुबुढानीलकण्ठ र कपन गरी ६ वटा गा.वि.स.हरू मिलाएर १९ वडामा बिभाजन गरी प्रशासकीय हिसावले समायोजन गरिएको थियो ।

Budhanilkantha Municipality

Education, Youth and Sports Department

Following the official establishment of Budhanilkantha Municipality on 16 Mangsir 2071 B.S., the Education, Youth and Sports Division was established as one of its key divisions. The division plays an executive role in the improvement, development, and promotion of education, youth, and sports within the municipality. The major educational functions of the division include:

(a) Implementing educational programs approved by the Municipal Education Committee, Social Development Committee, and Municipal Executive.

(b) Preparing municipal-level education plans, submitting them for approval to the Municipal Education Committee, Social Development Committee, and Municipal Executive, and implementing the approved plans.

(c) Preparing and publishing an annual educational status report that reflects the condition and progress of education within the municipality by the end of Chaitra each year.

(d) Implementing approved programs related to non-formal education, education for persons with special needs, compulsory and free basic education, Fun Friday activities, and school midday meal programs.
