Brief History
Himalayan Happy Children Academy is a private educational trust and a non-profit organization. The school is currently operating in Ward No. 1 of Budhanilkantha Municipality. Established on the foundation of providing basic education and basic employment, the school operates strictly within the framework of prevailing laws and regulations.
The school was founded in 2062 B.S. (2004 A.D.) with the noble objective of providing opportunities to children who are unable to access education due to various circumstances. Since then, it has successfully run as a continuous institution driven by a welfare-based concept. The school aims to maximize benefits for orphans, helpless children, and children from financially underprivileged families. The primary objective of establishing this school is to facilitate easy access to education for the children of carpet factory workers.
The institution offers education from pre-primary level up to Class 10 and has been participating in the final Class 10 examinations (S.L.C./S.E.E.) since 2067 B.S. (2010 A.D.). To support regular academic learning, the school provides a science laboratory, a computer lab, and a library. Additionally, the school organizes daily and weekly extracurricular activities, including basketball training, dance classes, and singing
