Brief History
Manjari Seconday School was established in 1985 as pre-primary school in Hattigauda Kathmandu. In 2055 B.S. school was successful to get the registration upto grade 10. Since the establishment date it has been imparting quality education with the fulfillment of social responsibility. Now, it is located in Budhanilkantha Ward No.-07 , Special chowk nearly Taaj Party Venue. School has capacity to enroll about 700 students with all facilities. School has been participating in both the National as well international events.
In the past years school participated in Asia-pacific level international water rocket competition and various international competition in yoga and martial Arts. School occupied unique and memorable positions in at the competition held. School has been able to get 100% passed in SLC Examination into distinction and first division since 2061 B.S to 2071 B.S and 100% successful GPA results when grading system began from 2072 to 2082.
In SEE 2081 2 students obtained GPA 4 and in SEE 2082 1 student obtained it.
More then 615 students and 50 teaching as well as non teaching staff are working in this institution. School is strictly following the curriculum recommended by curriculum Development Centre and working under the ruling of local government Budhanilkantha Municipality. School is fully furnished by science laboratory, computer laboratory, library and sports items. Classroom are spacious or equipped with new technology.
School performs various ECA and CCA pragramme throughout the year. This generally includes, debate, spelling quize, handwriting, fine art, yoga, music, singing, drama etc. School also occupies vast space during special cultural celebrations. Special dimensions of Nepalese culture and traditions are practiced in school.
School always encourages the students to be present regularly . The degree of discipline is very high due to regular motivation and counselling. There is mutual respect among the students and teachers. Students are also enthusiastic in learning through various methods. Parents have to be present in school regularly during meeting, School’s celebration and other important functions. Parents have to give more importance students cleanliness, discipline and homework. The parents have to provide delicious and hygienic food to the students. School also suggests parents for less and controlled use of cell phone, television, internet.
The future goal of school is to cultivate life long learners equipped with critical thinking, adaptability, and strong character. It prepares students for holistic and personalize development, practical problem solving, career and life readiness, community and citizenship through social awareness and ethical values.
