Brief History
“Education is the finest adornment of a person and a treasured wealth that remains forever. Through education, one attains happiness and develops an enlightened mind.”
With this vision, Mount Kailash Primary School was established in 2044 B.S. in the Kapan area with the objective of providing modern education to children from remote regions of Nepal. Beginning with primary-level classes, the school gradually expanded in accordance with the prevailing education regulations and started offering education up to the secondary level in 2048 B.S.
Since its establishment, the school has witnessed significant enrollment from children originating from Himalayan and remote regions of the country. Over the years, it has achieved remarkable academic success and played a vital role in shaping the bright futures of countless students. The school has always treated its students as members of one family and has remained committed to providing child-friendly, practical, and modern education that enables students to become responsible and capable members of society.
With the passage of time, many graduates of the school have gone on to become successful professionals in various fields, including doctors, engineers, nurses, teachers, national-level athletes, police officers, and members of the armed forces, contributing significantly to the nation.
Currently located near Ram Mandir, Budhanilkantha Municipality, the school continues to uphold the academic excellence and educational values established since its inception. Students benefit from a peaceful, clean, and modern learning environment away from the distractions of urban congestion.
