Our Preschool

Our preschool was established in the year 2074 B.S. with the vision of providing quality early childhood education in a safe, caring, and joyful environment. Since the very beginning, our institution has been committed to nurturing young minds and helping children build a strong foundation for their future learning journey. Located in Paiyutar, Kathmandu, our preschool has become a trusted educational center for many families who seek holistic development and quality care for their children.

Under the dedicated leadership of our respected Principal, Mrs. Sushma Aryal Adhikari, the preschool continues to grow with excellence and dedication. Her passion for children’s education, care, and development has helped create a positive and child-friendly atmosphere where every student feels valued and encouraged.

We currently run classes from Play Group (PG) to Upper Kindergarten (UKG). Our curriculum and academic activities are designed according to the developmental needs of children at every stage. We follow the APEN calendar and actively participate in the educational activities and programs organized by APEN. By attending all the events organized by APEN, our teachers and students gain opportunities for learning, creativity, exposure, and interaction with other educational institutions.

Since the establishment of our preschool, we have proudly graduated between 6 to 15 students every year. Although our batches are small, we believe this allows us to provide more personalized attention and care to each child. Our focus is not only on academics but also on emotional, social, physical, and creative development. We strongly believe that every child is unique and deserves proper guidance and encouragement to discover their talents and abilities.

Our preschool provides a warm, secure, and child-centered environment where children can learn through play, exploration, and interactive activities. The classrooms are designed to be colorful, engaging, and comfortable, helping children feel excited and motivated to come to school every day. We use creative teaching methods and activity-based learning approaches to make education enjoyable and meaningful.

Nutrition and health are also important priorities in our preschool. We provide healthy lunch and snacks to all students, ensuring that children receive proper nourishment during school hours. We understand that healthy eating habits are essential for a child’s physical growth and mental development. Therefore, we carefully plan nutritious meals and snacks suitable for young children.

In addition, every six months we invite a professional nutritionist to guide and assess the nutritional needs of our students. The nutritionist provides valuable suggestions to parents and teachers regarding healthy food habits, balanced diets, and child wellness. This initiative helps us promote awareness about children’s health and overall well-being.

Along with academics, we place strong emphasis on Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA). We believe that children learn best when they are actively engaged in different creative and physical activities. Therefore, we provide various ECA programs such as yoga, dance, and music. These activities help children develop confidence, creativity, discipline, coordination, and self-expression.

Yoga sessions help children improve concentration, flexibility, and relaxation. Dance activities encourage movement, rhythm, and confidence, while music classes help children express emotions and develop listening skills. Through these activities, children learn teamwork, communication, and social interaction in a joyful environment.

Our preschool also organizes different educational and cultural events throughout the year. These programs help students learn about traditions, cultures, celebrations, and global diversity. Events also provide opportunities for children to showcase their talents and build confidence in public participation.

One of the major highlights of last year was the celebration of China Day. The event was organized with great enthusiasm and participation from students, teachers, and parents. Children learned about Chinese culture, traditions, food, costumes, and language through fun and interactive activities. Such events broaden children’s understanding of the world and encourage appreciation for different cultures and communities.

We believe that strong cooperation between parents and school plays an important role in a child’s growth and success. Therefore, we maintain regular communication with parents regarding children’s progress, activities, and development. Parents are encouraged to participate in school programs, celebrations, and meetings. This partnership creates a supportive environment for children both at home and at school.

Safety and care are always our top priorities. We ensure that children are supervised properly and cared for with love and attention throughout the school day. Our teachers are dedicated, caring, and trained to handle young learners with patience and understanding.
