History of Shree Yagyamati Secondary School
Shree Yagyamati Secondary School is a community school located in Kapan, Ward No. 11 of Budhanilkantha Municipality. The school was established in 2046 B.S. Initially, it operated only at the primary level. One year after its establishment, the school was gradually upgraded to lower secondary and later to secondary level.
In its early years, teaching and learning activities were conducted in a small temporary building. Today, the school has significantly improved its infrastructure and facilities. It currently consists of six buildings equipped with essential teaching and learning resources, including a library, computer laboratory, and science laboratory. The school is situated in a peaceful and green environment at the heart of the local community.
At the time of its establishment, only a small number of students, mainly from the local area, attended the school. However, the institution has grown remarkably over the years, and currently more than 400 students from various districts of Nepal are enrolled and studying regularly.
The school has consistently achieved outstanding academic results since the SLC/SEE examinations. In the SEE Examination of 2082 B.S., the school achieved a remarkable 100 percent pass rate. Among the 22 students who appeared in the examination, 6 secured an A+ grade, while the remaining 16 students obtained an A grade.
At present, the school is served by 26 dedicated teachers and staff members who continue to contribute to its academic excellence and overall development. Through quality education, modern facilities, and a student-friendly environment, Shree Yagyamati Secondary School remains committed to nurturing responsible, capable, and successful citizens for the future.
